Okay, so exchange in 4th year instead.
Not too bad; change of plans...hopefully it'll work out. It'll give me more time to apply for an internship next summer, in both Toronto and France. Also, I'll have more time to work on my French before I go on exchange. Oh, and perhaps Erica and I could try out and develop some entrepreneurial skills this year too.

Have been quite happy lately...always planning different things to do with michael, deb, rach, nat, amanda, spencer, beth and ppl...really wanna try squid fishing. must do more healthy activities!!! it's always drinkin drinkin drinkinnnn.

Hello!

Hello from the other side of the world to my friends in Toronto! I'm actually at work right now. I'm currently working in the marketing department of JustGold Just*Diamond doing some China market research work. The workload didn't seem so bad at first, but now that I'm being asked to research for very specific but difficult if not impossible to find information, it's getting very frustrating and discouraging. So here I am on xanga cuz facebook is not letting me log in for some reason.

Hong Kong has been alright so far, haven't done much shopping yet. Life was more dramatic the first 2-3 weeks I got back, but now it's settling a bit which is good. Being in HK this time has actually made me realize that this place really isn't suitable for me at all. I'm already an easily-angered, short tempered individual, and being in an environment where people don't show much common courtesy very often puts me into rage. I would always find myself muttering "Learn to fuckin walk people" or just a simple "fuck you bitch" under my breath...haha....but actually...I say things like that...or worse... when I'm driving in Toronto, so I guess that doesn't really illustrate my point. The other day I bought a book and sat myself down outside starbucks at IFC. It was a nice day with a few cool breezes every now and then, so I thought "What a perfect day for me to read outside!" Not even 10 seconds after I sat down, this Chinese family speaking in mandarin sat down at the table next to mine and talked SO loudly, it sounded like they were arguing. Sigh...I enjoy those times in Toronto where I would buy an ice cap, bring a book and read outside or at a park.

On a brighter note, I might be going to Cebu with my uncle's family and my grandma next month! Lovely beaches, here I come!!!!

Times at the Yacht Club and Stanley were great and definitely really relaxing. I'm really looking forward to going to the islands in July =)
